@wmd
Definitely true.
Often people add a little bit of meat to a mainly vegetarian one to add some flavour.
In the area of Rome for example it's common to add a little bit of pig meat to pasta dishes.
I wouldn't consider this as eating meat every day, since the quantities are quite small.

I'm used to the fact that meat is generally the most expensive ingredient in a recipe, unless you're using some very exotic vegetable.
In Italy meat is easily 5 times as expensive as vegetables, thus making a mostly vegetarian diet much more affordable.

I have read Karl Marx and cannot imagine what you would mean by that.
This is not what we were talking about and you're adding nothing useful to this discussion.
Please, try understanding what's the subject of the discussion, think about it and see if you can provide something interesting about it.
If you want to talk about capitalism that's fine, we can talk about it, but don't do it here please.
@wmd @muellertadzio

@Blumenkuebel @wmd @muellertadzio
That's something important to consider when discussing the reduction of consumption.
Surely the production of meat is more expensive than that of vegetables.
Later I'll take a look at the prices in Norway and after that I'll see if I can find something about Germany.
If meat is actually cheaper I'd be fascinated to discover how that's possible.

@wyliesau Alright, as you wish then.
I'll have less competition while flirting with girls standing by the poles then.

@Blumenkuebel
I don't understand your reply.
Do you mean that meat is cheaper than vegetables in Germany?
It appears to me that you're implying that in rich countries meat is cheaper than vegetables, but that's really not the case, Slovenia, Italy and Spain are also rich countries but don't have meat cheaper than vegetables.

Or do you mean that since Germany is a rich country people eat meat every day despite the fact that it's more expensive than vegetables?
If this is the case, however, I would expect poor people in Germany to consume less meat than rich people.
@wmd @muellertadzio

@wyliesau I mean... that pole is not getting that much.
You can get more while in friend zone at this point.
I'd say it's better to be a man and do what you like.

Did you fill your car already? In that case just leave; finally buying an apple phone has paid off!

10 giugno.

@wmd
Don't worry, this is quite interesting!
I'll also try taking a look to see if any data is available later.
@Blumenkuebel @muellertadzio

@wmd
These are export prices however, I imagine Sweden doesn't export a lot of vegetables and only does so for luxury ones.
