Currently on Fedora and I really don't like Gnome 3
Specially the fact that I cannot see a list of open applications to quickly switch through them and that if I select one window, all instances of the same software are brought to foreground.
Is there something I should know or be careful about before switching to another DE?

All'altezza di Ajaccio la Yuma procedeva sui 12 nodi, quindi ha cambiato repentinamente direzione, è tornata indietro a 24 nodi per 42 miglia ESATTAMENTE SULLA STESSA ROTTA, poi NW per 2 miglia e quindi di nuovo in direzione Spezia a 22 nodi, poi ha rallentato a 16.
Non sono un dietrologo, ma mi piacerebbe conoscere lo spaccino di bordo.

“ir armado de punta en blanco” que significaba ir con la espada fuera de la vaina, ya lista para atacar. Cuando un caballero medieval se disponía a participar de un torneo o entraba en un combate, se cubría todo el cuerpo, incluidas sus extremidades, con una armadura y su cabeza con un yelmo, morrión, visera, gola, barbera y cubrenuca. Pero también entraba ya listo para iniciar la pelea con espadas o dagas listas para atacar y defenderse.
Justamente la acepción punta en blanco se refiere a esas armas que al tener su punta afilada a la vista, se las veía muy brillantes al sol porque estaban muy pulidas.

basically hacker news went down yesterday and in this screenshot someone chimes in talking about it saying that they had a batch of SSDs manufactured by SanDisk all get bricked after exactly 40,000 hours (4.5 years) uptime because it overflowed an internal counter and corrupted the SSD's internal state.
someone from hackernews replies and says that the SSDs HN was hosted on were in fact SanDisk Optimus Lightning IIs and almost exactly 4.5 years old.
