@ITGuru IDK what's so wrong with an ethnic minority running a nation.

Look for chances to help someone who might be struggling today. 💙

@billstclair

I'm not sure I'd say typical, but i do agree that in the vast majority of cases it doesnt need treatment or to be seen as a disability or disease.

I'd say its more accurate to claim it is an aspect to many peoples personality for better and for worse and is a natural part of the variation people hav ementally. It only needs treatment in extreme cases usually IMO

@realcaseyrollins

@freemo @realcaseyrollins Yeah, when I was first diagnosed it was still ADD/ADHD.

But that was in like 1994.

@realcaseyrollins@gab.com

6/ Now I will say this; I've never met a person with ADD/ADHD who was homeschooled.

@billstclair @Kranko Yeah. The summary for how I "grew out of it" so to speak was basically switching to homeschooling after being in private school, which cut down on my "class time" so by lunch I'd be done with school, so I'd spend my whole day playing outside with my brother, playing video games or playing with toy cars.

@billstclair @Kranko I just wrote a thread about my experience with ADD/ADHD behaviors here (qoto.org/@realcaseyrollins/102) but yes, another thing Peterson was saying with that ADD/ADHD behaviors are far more common in boys than they are in girls.

@realcaseyrollins@gab.com

5/ Now that I'm no longer homeschooled and can finally meet people (thank goodness) I've met some people with ADD/ADHD and we really click because I still kinda understand that mindset.
