@maison_faim Well, to be totally honest, sometimes they can. But the good news is, better days are always ahead, and in order to see those days, you gotta get through the hard ones.

The hard days are always difficult, but once you get through them, esp. if you use them as an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth, boy is it worth it.

@stirringthepot I am glad that there is some common ground between us, and there's at least something we can agree on! 🙂 I know that we tend to disagree from time to time...

@realcaseyrollins In the end a large share of responsibility knocks at the electorates doors - the embrace of sound bites, an unwillingness to actually do the math, and that blind partisanship thing

@stirringthepot True but it's better than the nation voting one way all the time, which likely would be the case if we switched to the popular vote.

@stirringthepot That's really a shame. People call her "progressive" but I find her quite reasonable, from what I've heard from her in debates I don't take much issue with most of her positions, save tighter gun laws. And she is against third trimester abortions, which is honestly pretty ballsy and badass of a do be. She would probably make a great president and serve as a unifying leading.

It does annoy me to see her sexualized though...like yeah she's hot, but that's a dumb reason to vote for someone for PRESIDENT, y'know?

@stirringthepot That's in part the fault of the media, and in part the fault of the voters.

@stirringthepot I don't prefer the popular vote. I prefer the EC since it allows the ideology of the branches to sway back and forth over time instead of completely being perpetually driven in any singular direction and eventually toppled over.
