There has been a stealth war on evangelical Trump supporters since the Republican primary. One Southern Baptist leader literally goaded then-candidate Trump into a fight. And when Trump fought back - that same leader became a victim. That Southern Baptist leader also said Trump was leading the Jimmy Swaggart wing of evangelicalism.
