Emys orbicularis (European pond turtle) encountered on a path through a wetland forest yesterday. Probably trying to lay her eggs, but with all the rain it won't be easy for her to find a good spot.

Yesterday this forest track was dry. The few hours of downpour last night helped to bring it back to it's natural condition. Not all #IdąPsięta are happy about it, but this one definitely is.
