Zosia update: yesterday she killed our internet, today she tried to dig her way out of the house and managed to remove some unsecured polystyrene foam insulation (she basically made a hole in the wall, as I feared :). Right now temperatures at night hover around 0°C, but they might fall below -10°C in the next days. Will have to buy some instant insulation that I can apply myself – people around here practically don't work now and celebrate until January the 6th. She's not hungry and became picky – it's getting more difficult to feed her antibiotics. She's getting acquainted with , but there are some territorial disputes. We didn't find her humans so we're now looking for a new home for her, but it's hard to find people who will take in an old mutt bitch.

Another Zosia update: she's strong, her wounds are healing, she eats her antibiotics,, she's in heat, she wants to run to the nearest village and fuck around. Still haven't found her humans – they probably don't have Internet (in case you missed Zosia news: qoto.org/@szescstopni/11166016)

Another Zosia update: she's much better now. Still looking for her humans.

He followed the dog and told me where she decided to lie on the grass. I got there, and it was a sorry sight. She was lying in the grass on the side of the road, not moving, growling weakly when I tried to get close.

A neighbour sent me a message today in the morning.

– Do you know them?

In our sparsely populated hamlet we know most of the dogs, and those didn't look familiar.

– One of them has an injured leg – the neighbour said when I called him.

Close-up of a bug

It's blurry, but it's a proof. Couldn't take a good picture as I was in a hurry to kill it. There was a time when we didn't bring fucking ticks home from our walks in the grasslands in fucking December.

I have no idea what those are. Paw of a gigantic wolf (7 kg) for scale.

A wayside shrine of Saint Euphemia in Eufeminów, Poland. I hope the leaders of Poland's Catholic Church will never find out about it – they'd raze it and put something sad and ugly in its place. Note: It's not a cat – it's a lion.

Today it decided to switch to a different mode, though I'm not sure it's autumn or early spring mode.

Some of them are not enjoying it that much. This type of snow tends to stick to Bruno's paws, making walking difficult. He has to stop now and then and tries to bite them off, but it's a hopeless struggle. We'll get those clumps off when we get back home.

This meadow will be brown and green tomorrow. are enjoying the snow while it's still here.

The correct amount of outside lights for Christmas. That single blue light is from an Internet terminal.

The jury is still out on whether we'll have autumn or spring for Christmas.
