The level of water on our #wetlands is still a bit low, but it's getting better. Unfortunately Vuko, the wetlands protector, is just a small dog and won't be able to do much when draining of those meadows starts in the spring. He's has great teeth, but they don't work on treads of heavy machines.

Zosia seems to like #wetlands. This miht not be apparent from this picture, but all the other were blurred.

Our last car went down. 1.5 km from the house. Oh, well, mud and water. You love them and you hate them when living in a bog.

Zosia update: yesterday she killed our internet, today she tried to dig her way out of the house and managed to remove some unsecured polystyrene foam insulation (she basically made a hole in the wall, as I feared :). Right now temperatures at night hover around 0°C, but they might fall below -10°C in the next days. Will have to buy some instant insulation that I can apply myself – people around here practically don't work now and celebrate until January the 6th. She's not hungry and became picky – it's getting more difficult to feed her antibiotics. She's getting acquainted with #IdąPsięta, but there are some territorial disputes. We didn't find her humans so we're now looking for a new home for her, but it's hard to find people who will take in an old mutt bitch.

Another Zosia update: she's strong, her wounds are healing, she eats her antibiotics,, she's in heat, she wants to run to the nearest village and fuck around. Still haven't found her humans – they probably don't have Internet (in case you missed Zosia news: https://qoto.org/@szescstopni/111660162875386651)

He followed the dog and told me where she decided to lie on the grass. I got there, and it was a sorry sight. She was lying in the grass on the side of the road, not moving, growling weakly when I tried to get close.
