Bruno, the oldest of our pack of , can't decide whether to our house, or to go to our neighbour, where he practically lives now (that old wooden house in the background).

One of them loves snow. The other hates it. Both are happy there's no way I could drive them to the vet today (this is our only road to the outside world).

Masza asking us to hurry up and go on that walk before the sun goes down. It took a while to shovel that snow.

Definitely not driving anywhere today – this is our only road to the outside world. The , , don't seem to care. But they should be careful – the only way to get to the vet if something happened would be to airlift them.

Our road. We're expecting much more snow tonight and tomorrow. We could survive on our supplies of food for a few weeks, but we ran out of whisky.

If the weather predictions are correct, this is the only day with a bit of sunshine this week. Those little spots on the road are , our .

Looks like I'll have to carry the chainsaw in the car on my way to work.

Christmas is coming. Strong language.

Christmas is coming, so in order to maximize profits, trees are wrapped tightly in fucking plastic to fit more in transport.

It's that time of the year when we realize that our black and white is not black and white.

Snow is celebrating its victory by building triumphal arches over the only road that links us to the world. We'll see how long they'll last.

We didn't expect that today, we thought we'd be stuck for at least two more days. Last night those brave guys worked till midnight to clear roads to houses where children live, so that they could go to school today. One of those rare cases when I'm not mad breathing in diesel exhaust.

The sun fought a good battle but was defeated by the clouds over our neighbour's house.

This is our only road to civilization. Luckily we bought a chainsaw a few months ago – after more than five years of living here :) Hopefully we'll find a real snowplow to clear that road, otherwise we're stuck here until the spring :)

The only snowplow we have is Moro – she's a brave little dog, but that's too much snow for her.
