are wet, they are happy. Our , , are wet, some are happy, some not. Our bedsheets will suffer from the canine vectored transfer of wetness. We're not happy about that, but generally we're happy.

We didn't expect that today, we thought we'd be stuck for at least two more days. Last night those brave guys worked till midnight to clear roads to houses where children live, so that they could go to school today. One of those rare cases when I'm not mad breathing in diesel exhaust.

This is our only road to civilization. Luckily we bought a chainsaw a few months ago – after more than five years of living here :) Hopefully we'll find a real snowplow to clear that road, otherwise we're stuck here until the spring :)

Bruno's favourite pub. One of the few places around where there's always water, even in the summer, though a few months ago it went dry.

Our three years ago. Now you can walk here without wellies. At least we don't have wet in our bed.

There should be much more water here now, but we're losing it quickly as old ditches are cleared to make meadows in the background easier to mow. Farmers don't really need all that hay, but they get paid for this, and if they don't mow them they will get no money.

Finally the ditches are frozen and the of the pack can roam a wider area of our .

Our are being drained. Come next summer, the wet meadows won't be wet any more.

This should be completely under water at this time of the year. Our , , can find spots where they can get a drink, but none where they can swim.

Two of the pack watching slow destruction of their . Ditches were recently cleared and is flowing out more quickly than usually. Water reserves for the coming hot season will be much smaller.
