Today is probably the last day we can walk on frozen wetlands meadows near our house. Coming days will bring rain and higher temperatures and then we'll have to wait weeks before everything here dries.

This is a nice spot to sit and admire the huge #wetlands meadows, but not today. Not all of us have thick furs to protect us from the strong north-western wind. #IdąPsięta #Polesia

#Wetlands should be left in peace but there's a lot of pressure on the local government to allow building houses on this meadow, which is in a protected natural area.

Today is the #WorldWetlandsDay. I can only hope that this place, which I pass many times on my way to work, will still be so wet in the coming years.
