@mhalila
Denying systemic #racism is saying that everyone who has ever racially discriminated against a person of color came up with the idea of racial discrimination all by themselves,

@revk I recently tried to upload a GIF I made to Twitter and it didn't work. Turns out it won't accept plain old GIFs with just a single image. Guess I'll have to rewrite my old program to generate PNGs instead.

@GreenSky Unfortunately the local power utility in Wrocław removed the plants recently and now it's just an ordinary lamppost.

@natureworks The nice thing about this place, compared to Twitter, is that people are being nice, and trying to be nicer. That was one biggest problems for me here initially – I sometimes love being not nice :)

BREAKING: Government Announces Reactionary Plan to Impose New Restrictions on Validity of Foreign Gender Recognition Certificates - by Jess O'Thomson (@jess)

The UK Government is clear that their target is not just GRCs from Scotland - it is GRCs from any country which does not require a medical diagnosis of gender dysphoria to obtain such a certificate.

@rmattila74@mastodo.fi So you start with a giant nuclear reactor in space, then use discarded parts of that reactor to convert the reactor's radiation to kinetic energy, then convert this kinetic energy to back to electromagnetic radiation. All used to be so simple in the old days, and now this...

@natureworks You never know. We still don't know that much about their cognitive capabilities :)

@at@sigmoid.social I've been following this subject for years, many of my rural internet customers are farmers and have their harvest servicing horror stories. In a poor part of a not very rich country this is a real problem. The farms here are small, so farmers have little leverage. Generally, old things work better here. My youngest car is 18 years old, but if something fails it's usually easy to repair locally.

I’m still laughing 😂
Hope this gives you a chuckle.
We could all use one right now.

This in Wrocław, Poland, became famous for some strange reason, so the power utility had it shaved, as this was against regulations. So sad. (couldn't find the original source of the photo)

While many countries are making major efforts to prevent the loss of their large #carnivore populations and/or to restore them - Sweden decides to cull about 20% of its wolf population:

@at@sigmoid.social That's what I fear too. That means people from my area (Eastern Poland close to the border with Ukraine) won't lose their jobs hacking those tractors :) BTW, I still wonder about the origins of that "Ukrainian hackers help farmers repair their Deeres" story from years ago.
