Today is my first day at https://sovasage.com/ and I'm looking for some good #clojure and #clojurescript developers! I'd love to hear from you. :)
Hmm. I have a lot of respect for theller's work, but isn't shadowcss https://github.com/thheller/shadow-css just reinventing the wheel? I love using gardencss for #clojure #clojurescript #CSS gen, and it works great cljc. https://github.com/noprompt/garden
Last night I was too tired to clarify, but here is the project #ClojureScript #transcription #portuguese
Benefits to using your full programming language for your #css: I wrote code that determines whether my domain is subdomain or subpath and rewrites my resource paths accordingly, shared with both resource calls (like <img>) and css url functions (like `background: url(SOMEPATH)`). #gardencss #reitit #clojurescript

If you ever wanted to build #ClojureScript "native" apps without #ReactJS or any other #VDOM here is a thing you might want to take a look at -- https://github.com/thheller/shadow-grove -- build by @thheller (creator of shadow-cljs)
Great answers here

I still don't understand how to properly use JS promises in #Clojurescript. 🤷

Honestly this is a big one of the reasons I choose #ClojureScript/#Clojure: maximum capability while maintaining a culture of low-turbulence, high stability, low junk

But syntax doesn't have to be hard. Enter #Clojure #ClojureScript, part of the "syntaxless" tradition where you can learn syntax and then it gets out of the way, even allowing you to compile down to those others (and many more)

JavaScript is Hard!
Python is Hard!
CSS is Hard!
Whole Programming is Hard !!
Yes, everything will be hard at first, but it will become easy once you start learning it and put your time and effor…

Nice illumination! Seems pretty arbitrary compared to the #() lambdas I'm used to with #Clojurescript

shadow-cljs #clojurescript requires npm. There is no npm package in #guix, but a simple `guix install node` will get you your npm command.

Every few months JS folks get really excited about something that's been in #ClojureScript for years 🙃 https://twitter.com/builderio/status/1519743620529766401

We're looking for a new #clojure #clojurescript dev @Exoscale https://www.exoscale.com/jobs/#software-engineer-user-experience If you're looking for a great place to work with lots of challenging tasks, that has been very remote friendly for years and where clojure is heavily used, please apply!

I learn #Clojurescript and #Clojure because life is short. Programming is cool of course but honestly it's a shitshow. The complexity + dependency breakage, the "tooling" + constant changes are not healthy. I am a noob and for this I have the authority to say. I'd prefer not to.
So webpack offers excellent speedy hot-reloading now?

It's back, under slightly different name from ClojureScript Podcast to ClojureStream Podcast. The same RSS feed and the same format.

To whom it may concern: maybe I am just behind the curve, but if you are getting "reagent/render is deprecated" warnings in your #ClojureScript project, the answer is that the function moved to reflect changes in the React.JS project. Now it's reagent.dom/render
