Big yes. #Emacs dired rocks.

emacs has a utility called dired that is a joy to work with. Renaming, moving around files, etc is all trivial with it.

I had no idea . That is awesome

Everyone knows about M-x tetris in #emacs -- but have you ever heard of M-x dunnet? It's an old-school text adventure game.

I have to face it: 3 of 5 days I am not a coder; I spend all day planning, scheduling, answering emails, project meetings, delegating, code review, and training. And at least one more on devops and debugging. It is time I made peace with this fact. #IsThisSeniorDev?
Gratitude 1: #emacs is really good at both emailing and scheduling.
Gratitude 2: It's actually the 6th day where I get some serious coding in. At least, sometimes.
This was the moment I realized I like this guy

I would just like to highlight this key moment from todays keynote. @reClojure #clojure #emacs #theonetrueeditor

Let it be written: Sussman's favorite piece of software of all time is #emacs #reclojure @reClojure
#emacs is great at the forgotten art of #macros, as when I need to make events for the next 99 days but then remove weekends. https://orys.us/ug

If you use #emacs and shadow-cljs, please help the project by reviewing and contributing patches to the CIDER documentation (@thheller isn't an Emacs user, and needs help!)
There are times in #emacs when bisection gets relievingly lucky. Such it was when I found out that my 6m old version of Marginalia was causing emacs to freeze on displaying the variable list. Though it had caused a week of pain, once I got down to init bisection it only took half an hour. #CuttingEdgePains
We chafe at the "impurity of the syntax artifacts that have to be injected to do whitespace editing."
Enjoying catching up on old episodes of the @JacekSchae #Clojurescript Podcast, I enjoyed an insightful interview with the Shaun Labron, author of Parinfer who is apparently no longer on Twitter. Now what I want to know is how SmartParens came about as the #emacs next thing. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/s2-e1-lisp-editing-with-shaun-lebron/id1461500416?i=1000448529731
I've always been fascinated to hear @stuarthalloway talk about using an #emacs environment that changes once/decade. Enjoying catching up on @JacekSchae #Clojurescript Podcast, Great interview about his insight into Spartan IDE and clean mental attics. https://soundcloud.com/user-959992602/s2-e2-repl-with-stuart-halloway
Modern day digital struggles: "listening" online includes checking Telegram * 2, Git*, Slack, MatterMost, Twitter * 3, Mastodon * 3, RSS feeds, Reddit, Zulip, and every once in a while, voicemail and text messages. I can use #emacs and #email to reduce the surface area of 8 of those, so that's something to stem the flood.
Gotta say, I really love my #emacs buffler setup with exwm, helping me easily get around my buffer groups. This takes care of what some people use a desktop, task bar, or dashboard for.
I love #RSS #feeds, and read them using the excellent #emacs #elfeed. WordPress creates RSS feeds by default, and if you know the trick it's easy to subscribe. But can I suggest people make more obvious links to these? What is an entry-level RSS reader you would recommend for subscribing to RSS feeds, and a pitch for why people should know about this option?
Email is something of a pleasure with #emacs + notmuch + gnus + getmail. A dozen addresses all funneled and sorted in one mail client, quickly created, replied, removed, searched, or added to my daily agenda. After years I would feel handicapped to go back to a web interface.

#emacs friends, I'd like to start contributing back to the software I enjoy so much. If you maintain a package (or contribute to Emacs directly) and know of an "easy first issue", I'd love to take a look at it!
