@veer66 ooh. I sometimes use regular pdftotext heavily, and it has some big issues with multi-column pdfs. How does your apache version stack up?
@writh Check this out. It looks like MOA has a storied past with Instagram. https://moaparty.com/bring-back-instagram/
I have followers, and now I have one subscriber. But I thought the point subscribing was that it was anonymous. I can see just who it is. So what's the difference between subscribing and following on Mastadon again? #noxp
@veer66 oh--is that what cljpdf is wrapping? A big java lib, I guess?

ClojureScript ff-ing rules. Thank you @swannodette, @mfikes and everybody involved. Also @thheller for making CLJS builds "easy".
Facebook is a rotten company, rotten from the top down, its founder, board and execs are sociopaths and monsters, committers of non-hyperbolic crimes against humanity. They lie, they cheat, they steal. They are some of history's greatest villains.
Because Facebook is a terrible company run by terrible people, it periodically erupts in ghastly scandal. Sometimes whistleblowers or reporters reveal historic crimes, including (but not limited to) deliberately helping to foment genocide.

@icedquinn no context on this, but just want to say from happy places in my memory, "I like Perl."
@veer66 I have seen this on clj-pdf, which wraps something or other pdf, and on Juxt Tick, both very useful libraries but sometimes with the same strange characteristic that their owners don't seem to fully understand how their own system works, so answers include more "should work" and "maybe"s than expected.

Analysis paralysis when trying to learn #Clojure backend? Try to buy a printer to realize it could be worse. 😂
@icedquinn I live in org-agenda! Every day since I was a uni student.
#Clojure is very often used to create wrappers around other libs. This is a testament to its excellent syntax and development environment that this is deemed worthwhile. But it also produces the curious effect that I've experienced many times: you inquire of the library steward, "How does this work?" or "how can I do XYZ?" and they respond, "I'm not sure..."
