For a moment I thought one of the benefits of #WebDev is that you don't often need to think about optimizing algorithmic performance. True, but you now need to think about optimizing package size, CDNs, and browsers compatibility, load-time. Trade performance heatmaps for user clickmaps.

Dragan used #clojure to make optimized numeric and deep-learning solutions, leveraging gpus and obtaining did performance leveraging nvidia, BLAS, more... in under 9000 LOC. Clojure is pretty good that way. @draganrocks is not bad either.
