I like how the Mastodon instance allows quoting (eg a type of retweeting with commentary) of toots. Why don't other Mastodon's allow this?

I'm on Guix, but the question probably applies to Linux in general: to get a new font to show up in programs, do I just install from the repo? Or do I need to activate/enable it somehow? Do I need to restart my session to get it to show in browser/emacs?

It looks like aviso.prettier is not compatible with Cider, and probably not necessary with it anyway. Cider error/tests are pretty good
