* Why the World can be a Better Place with MarkDown ?
...just see my fresh new post. Here in the Discourse Forum for now, but it's practically ready for a Write.Freely blog post.
Mastodon cannot even come close to displaying content that well, sadly. Friendica can though.
And -- my favourite platform, the elegant and fast Write.Freely blog I love.

Thank you to Tom, @emuz for all his work at his instance -- Recommended by this #FediReporter

@design_RG @emuz I am sure qoto supports Markdown or at least LaTeX
$\LaTeX$
@freemo @design_RG @emuz
How do I type LaTeX in then ?
you should read https://qoto.org/about/more it and other important details you should be familiar with (including a ton of features we added) are listed there. Here is a copy and paste from that which explains it:
Inline math Latex support - Use \ ( and \ ) for inline LaTeX, and \ [ and \ ] for display mode.
Example:
\(\LaTeX\)
@freemo @design_RG @emuz Good to see gitlab pages on there, as a service.
We provide a free ultimate license to everyone (normally costs 100$ per user per month) and free runners for CI (including one with GPU support for opencl and cuda)
@freemo @design_RG @emuz Cool., I can't wait to get back to code club as 2 of my members are not fans of google so may be open to joining here.
nextcloud is also good, as it now provides a whole host of other services I think, e.g office type applications.
By all means invite as many people as you want, thats why its there. I am also open to offering other services aimed at coders.
Our discourse for example acts as a mailing list as well. Project subforumns can be subscribed to via email and if you use it only through email it looks and behaves exactly as a mailing list would. So its a great way of offering support on your projects.
I'm playing around with WikiJs as a way of hosting documentation in addition to doing it with gitlab but it doesnt seem to be very friendly to multi-tenancy.
I will join the discourse thing to discuss ideas etc.
@design_RG @freemo @emuz Where is the best place to introduce myself ?
@freemo @design_RG @emuz I meant on the forum (discourse) sorry.
Oh on the forums I'd say the Book Room. Its for general discussion that doesnt fall under any topic. so seems most fitting.
@freemo @design_RG @emuz
Ok done, awaiting approval. thanks.
@zleap
I would make a public post on mastodon, use the hastag introduction and introductions, then I will reboost it for maximum exposure.
