If all email users (2.3 billion people) deleted just 10 emails that would save 38,035 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions. That's approximately equivalent to 19356 tonnes of coal burnt
So how does it work?
Emails are usually stored at multiple servers around the world, the servers are stored at big data centres that use tons of electricity to keep the servers running. The electricity is generated by fossil fuels which then results in carbon emissions.
So here's how you can help:
• delete unwanted mails
• unsubscribe from mailing list which you don't find interesting
• empty bin and spam folder on regular basis
Let's contribute to save the earth.

This is the amount of crap that Microsoft dumps on your computer
If I wanted to delete teams I can do, deleting my seems to give me a 60 day cooling off period, which to me is excessive anyone clued up enough on the GDPR and related laws so that I can takes steps to MAKE THEM remove my details or face criminal charges.

Sharing as you may be interested. I can see that given she is facing 35 years, she will talk to get a shorter jail term. Could be very awkward for people.
Fox News segment crops Trump out of a photo with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell
On Sunday evening, Fox News ran a segment about Ghislaine Maxwell, who was charged last week with the sex trafficking of children in the 1990s. The clip featured a photo of Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell with the image of President Trump cropped out. A spokesperson for the network said the editing was done by mistake: "We regret the error."
My response is 'yeah right it was an error'
