This massive oversized concrete girder is being delivered to the new road project to the upper left of the prior overhead shot. In fact, that appears to be the truck entering the work zone.
Huge delay incoming. These are supposed to be escorted loads. Just absolutely devastating overall besides the 2 reported injuries.

I just got and accepted an offer to become a junior embedded software engineer! It took family, mentors at my company, people on Twitter when I belonged there and also many kind people on Mastodon.
@PHolder, I specifically was able to draw on the unit testing discussion and my attempts at C programming from advent of code during our interview. I can’t thank you enough!

Isn't the purpose of education to look at , and discuss topics that are not all rosy and nice, to look in to good and bad stuff and debate, discuss and develop critical thinking skills?
@gwensnyder agreed, hence as we get better content on here, we should attract more followers etc.
Hopefully a slower process so as a network we have time to adapt, and cope with a steady stream of new users.

If we want people to move away from centralized platforms (and we should), the way we do that isn't preaching the technical superiority and expecting that to win hearts and minds.
Folks on social media aren't looking for the best tech, they're looking for tech that helps them access community with a minimum of friction.
@WallStreetSilv Agreed, the more people gain the ability to write and publish articles, and link to sources, evidence the better reporting should be. as there will be little room for lazy and sloppy journalism.

agreed it was only last xmas the Salvation army were pretty much blanket branding lots of people racist.
We are all equal here, I am trying to stand with everyone else here, making it clear I am white, and still want to support the cause and fight for equality.
I have seem posts that are aimed at 'white people' as if we are all some how part of the problem.
The problem is the system, to change the system we all need to stand together.
I dont want to get invovled in debates on race, I want to figure how how we can use the knowledge / resources we have or know about to make the world better for people.
