Given the UK was the main player at the time of the creation if Israel and then abandoned Arabs to their fate when the going got tough, the UN should decree that as the UK considers the current actions by Israel as self defence and therefore acceptable to kill over 23000 people, the remaining ARABS should be given safe sanctury in the UK.

THe UK government would soon change their tone.

This however is not the point, given that it is ILLEGAL to force people from their homeland, which is what is going to happen here, Israel wants control of security, their lives will be hell not just at the hands of the IDF et al but settlers who will attack them (like they are doing in the West Bank)

Something has to convince the UK government to follow the US line and express more and more concern about the actions in Gaza AND the west bank and find another solution, that does NOT involve Hamas or actually the current hard line Isreali regime as there HAS to be changes on both sides to bring about a better solution.

Interesting piece from the former UK PM. Seems to fail to mention many thing such as the fact he took classified documents, accused of rape, etc. Not taking briefings seriously is also very concerning. Good enough reasons NOT to allow him back in the White House. Lets not start on his total contempt for the judicial system.

I am not sure how the US system works, but I get the impression he can back Ukraine 100 percent, but if the house / congress / senate don't back that support, it won't happen or will be delayed

Boris seems to be forgetting the right wing elements of the GOP who hold a great deal of power or at least seem to. To me they are probably MORE dangerous than a lying, corrupt former president regaining office.

Please explain how this is legal, under the equality act age discrimination is illegal. So once again a large proportion are denied opportunity due to their age. Those behind this need to be in PRISON.

The Bibby Stockholm barge is perfectly adequate accomodation if you are for example an Oil worker, If I understand things, each cabin is for 1 person. This lot have tried to put 2 people to a cabin, so instant overcrowding, but the rest of the barge is probably not designed for that level of population, for example in terms of size of corridors for escape routes in emergencies.

They seem to be falling apart at the seems, hopefully there is a general election sooner rather than later, but when any General Election is going to end their time in power, they will delay for as long as possible.
