@lupyuen wish we had bananas like this in our stores. we have just one cultivar.. mass markets and industry love homogeneity though🤷♂️
@dthompson is that mainly an attention thing? @cwebber@octodon.social
sometimes you throw a random dart on the web and hit some cool shit. the game itself is pretty meh, and controls don't work in the tutorial on the version of wine (proton/ experimental) that I'm using, but the fact this is something kids could be exposed to is neat

Hi! I'm Camila, an artist and illustrator with a love for fantasy and horror.
I've worked with novel covers, concept art and games in general. I lean towards character art but try to keep a broader focus to cultivate the toolset needed for my own weird projects.
Looking forward to meeting other creatives!

Welp, they're gone now. I think, legally, I can take down the nest. They didn't raise any offspring here as far as I could tell, so I don't think there are any offspring that'll return, but the pair themselves could come back... I'll review a bit more, then decide.
@peterdrake michelin stars don't necessarily mean "fancy". I guess I don't *really* care, it's just for a guy who's into spinning fire knives, "food people recognize as good seems" a hella weird place to draw a line on extravagance
@peterdrake why? I mean, I hear that three stars are probably not the best experience for the price, but a one or a two star seems like a worthwhile thing to try.
#syncthing not having pluggable conflict resolution seems pretty crazy to me. That's one of the main things I'd think you'd need in such a system.
Is it worth trying to build that into syncthing or should I put together a really dumb partition-tolerant file sync solution that I can add conflict resolution to from the start?
@VoteChess oy, the fediverse is not so good at playing chess, huh?

@readsteven nah, but if you see *me* cutting up my clothes to avoid disturbing a house cat, that means ya boy needs help
@readsteven such a charming depiction of mental illness
@brainwane thanks for sharing. the story of the embed directive alone is worth a read: https://thephd.dev/finally-embed-in-c23
Even though the idea of the feature is relatively simple, the time and energy it'll unequivocally save for real people is an achievement.
@zwol I do not understand https://thephd.dev/c23-is-coming-here-is-what-is-on-the-menu but thought you might be interested

@peterdrake at my uni, we all had to buy these clickers that registered our responses, then the instructor would display them on the board
