I don't get how digital cameras cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Like, what goes into one of these things that it costs more than a smartphone?

one weird thing is that my portable charger has a button, which I thought was just for turning on status indicator, that turns on the phone. I don't think it works that way for any of my other devices🤔

I've tried the #pinephone now with the latest #postmarketOS and #phosh, and it's considerably less jankey than with KDE Plasma Mobile. It's still kinda jankey, and pretty skeletal, but closer to what I would expect for a "beta" FOSS project on mobile.

Is there a good reason for this from a customer perspective? It seems to me like Google could just change the warranty terms arbitrarily after sale.

I can confirm, they are very fluffy and pretty good with chocolate chips. 😋 The apple cider vinegar and almond milk mix smells disgusting, but it doesn't carry into the final product.
