I remember this scene in "Waking Life" where a character says something like "text is unreadable in dreams" or "you can't read a clock in dreams". That's total B.S. -- I've done both of those things in my dreams multiple times.
It's good to encourage software citation. I wonder if folks are or will be using these styles of citation even when they know they exist. I know when I've needed to cite software before, I just made a @misc entry, put the software name in the title, version in the description (or note?) along with a URL. No one worried about it, least of all, me. Kinda hard to see the push or pull towards this format other than an individual, PI, funder, or publisher mandating it.

What is an acceptable amount of insect parts and rodent hair in your peanut butter? If you're in the USA and eat food from commercial food sources, the answer probably isn't "none". As it says on the site, the amounts are expected to be less than the amounts listed: they're "defect action levels" meaning it's something the FDA would act on if that amount is detected, but it's worth thinking about the fact that we're accepting these limits already.

Points 2 and 3 were things I really hadn't thought about before, but I'm glad to see researchers arguing for more control of their work. https://info.africarxiv.org/africarxiv-supports-coar-on-their-input-to-data-repository-selection-criteria-that-matter/
