@lupyuen Amphetamine was originally used in the US as a replacement for ephedrine. It worked well and during one of the controlled trials for bronchitis, it was noted that hyperactive children calmed down. The scientists were more puzzled than usual. Fast forward to today and 47,000,000 kg of free base oil is domestically produced for medical use.

@lupyuen I got caught up in some code. I'm okay. I still have ADHD and take the medication to help manage my symptoms.

@trinsec I use \LaTeX to typeset as I am a Mathematician (among other things). I will use GNU/Emacs if I have to. Thanks for the advice and link but LaTeX and Beamer are what I use whenever possible. My resume, or CV, was made with LaTeX.

@fxdm Mathematical Modeling is beautiful. Imagine the graph if the field didn't exist. ;)

@szopen Discourse and Matrix are far more impressive when it comes to productivity.

@freemo They did amazing things but the most impressive is still just assumed. Development of Maize from a very unimpressive plant to real food.

@freemo @Science That reminds me of the "jumpers" that form from use of RoHS solders over time.

@lupyuen Thank you sir. I have no bio but it wouldn't be difficult to find my accounts as they have references to R(S)-1-Phenyl-Propan-2-Amine in their names. It's a tongue in cheek reference to ADHD and being fed amphetamine tablets from an early age.

@lupyuen I'm still working on code and interoperability between different devices. You are the reason that I have gotten as far as I have. I will also need to change my American Mathematical Society specialized LaTeX environment to IEEE Presentation Standards. Lol, I'm doing research on my hardware on my own time and my own dime.

@lupyuen Is your name correct as displayed or do I need to use Hanzi for my IEEE works cited page? I am the researcher from ( * social media platform) doing research on the BL602. I don't know when I will be ready to publish as I keep finding new things to include and improve on.

@Gargron China also stopped accepting America's plastic for recycling.

@2ck If I recall correctly, the screen can be locked in one position in the code. Oddly enough this was an issue that turned me off of developing apps. I did make a couple of Android Apps but they were very simple as I saw it more as a waste of time.

@2ck It's not that they used Java but they reinvented Java and nixed what made Java useful. It would have been much easier to develop for if it was closer to Java.

@2ck I was referring to the "open" aspect of Android and developing for it.

@comphys Perhaps someone here does know. It's often necessary to ask if one should rather than if one could.
