Hear me out: If you are programming something with the intention to evoke a specific feeling or express an idea, you are an artist.
I don't like how programmers are often left outside of creative discussion.
For 2 decades there was not a single art file in dwarf fortress and i will fight whatever who tells me there is not artistic intention there since the beginning.
Programming is a tool. Game programmers use that tool to create... The game.

Transgender seems like more of a journey, often involving meds and sometimes surgery, in the goal of making one's sex match one's gender.
Non-binary, otoh, usually eschews all of that and completely ignores sex for a blended gender.
There are definitely similarities, and what I described above is far from clear-cut lines, but there are enough differences to necessitate a second category, imo.

Making it acceptable to kill someone with different politics is not anything like the rule of law. If you follow this policy to its logical conclusion, it doesn't go anywhere good.

@ThinkingSapien Pretty sure it's mostly nonsense. I mean, sure, theft happens. But the media seem to be obsessed with shoplifters and squatters right now, so they're going out of their way to get footage.
Kind of like how Boeing had one big failure (where nobody got hurt) and then the media covered every other little thing they normally wouldn't even notice and now people are scared to fly on Boeing planes.

@dreks @jeffjarvis I disagree that it's only "political posturing". Having more minorities in leadership positions is one of the most effective ways we currently have of dismantling the systemic bias that exists throughout our justice system.
Trump's picks for SCOTUS justices weren't political posturing... They were furthering an agenda.
I see no reason not to believe the same of Biden's picks.
@dreks @jeffjarvis If the intent of the appointments was to antagonize, I'd agree with you. But, as the antagonization is a byproduct, those who feel antagonized need to suck it up and deal with it. We have no obligation to cater to their uncivilized ways to avoid angering them.
