@lupyuen It's some weird multi-arch thing, isn't it? Grr..

@lupyuen I've had this issue before when I tried to get VS Code. It's a 64 bit machine, but when I tried to get it to play with 64 bit stuff, it eats APT.

@lupyuen @PINE64 Darn it!

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
edex-ui:amd64 : Depends: npm:amd64 but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

@lupyuen @PINE64 Why must you keep showing me cool stuff that I want to play with....? I just spend the last half hour looking for a repo that I found acceptable to install eDEX-ui...

@Selenium Tech, life, and other stuff. What's your flavor of STEM?

@devharts I've got a desktop running Debian and another running Windows. I do too much .Net programming at work to give up the latter.

I've been trying to get my nephew to play Twilio, since he really likes building with redstone in Minecraft, and I'd live to get him to convert that interest into some real-world skills.

@coldwave If you can't look back at your past, particularly your youth, and say, "Wow, I was a real dumbass," you are, in all probability, still a real dumbass. You're on the right track, man!

@finity @pganssle This is why you need gadgets to perform mundane tasks. Or butlers.

@Iambharani Where's the loop? This is looped, right? There's not a 30' wall of this stuff, is there?

@namark Uh oh...so not just a math problem? What is lerp? I thought you were making some kind of commentary about the math looking like babble..I may have made a wrong assumption here...

@proto_azure Okay, for all that I said that, I do not appear to have bought a Schaum's guide for that class. Schaum's Outline of Statistics looks like it hits the topics that I took in an Engineering Stats class (used for things like quality engineering), but it's definitely the advanced guide. Some of the contents doesn't look familiar...maybe it's for actuaries?

@proto_azure Not sure. Let me see if I can excavate a path to the correct bookshelf without annoying the gamer in the living room.

@proto_azure I can't say that I particularly liked my engineering stats text, but I've always found that it's worth picking up the Schaum's guide for technical subjects.

While it's probably possible to appease a tree that needs a very particular climate, I cannot accommodate 150 feet of height.
