@mikmaqpeek Tilly calmed down, ate her morning breakfast late at night, then crawled into bed with me. In the morning, Tilly came out for her breakfast and then had me tuck her into her bed by the window as I got ready for work. She's OK now. #DogsOfMastodon

@torq The Mastodon infighting has my attention, what little attention I have to spare. Tilly freaked out tonight over a fly. Unfortunately, at this point I can't remember your OP concerns for FB. My head doesn't have the space. I recall it is important to the larger discussions among people within the US, but my "little girl" is cowering in a hassock and won't eat or come to a more comfortable bed, I just can't now.

Your profile looks fine! The only thing I would suggest is that you include hashtags of things that interest you. #\DogsOfMastodon (without the \) might be a good one, or just #\Dogs. Look on @marcelias's follower list for people you recognize, see what hashtags they are using, copy their list and put in your profile! That will make you more "findable" as a person of similar interest in the many *MANY* things you could be discussing with others here on the network. :)

At the moment she's terrified of a fly. I saw it, but it was gone before I could do anything. If I can't find it, I can't swat it.

A dog is barking outside, and she is very quietly woofing back, so I think she's doing better now, even as she hides in her hassock. A blanket covers the front so she can peek out through the holes in the crochet, but has an illusion of hiding.

She didn't eat her breakfast... I freshened it with a pinch of cheese and left it for her. #DogsOfMastodon

@torq looking more closely on this specific one with a fresh rereading of your OP... I find in my head space "I don't use FB, it's dead to me so my brain comes back with a 404 error when I ask it."

The net result is as if you asked me about something to do with Truth Social: while I certainly would have an opinion if I used it, I don't. Except in the case of FB, I use messenger, I'd rather I didn't, but the circumstances are such I will continue for now.

Again, I'm sorry I grasped for an answer to the question you didn't ask. After reading it over again, and with my current personal life distractions, the "thinky" portion of my brain as well as my heart on FB still comes up with "404“ as the answer. I wish I could do better. Today is not that day.

@torq Ah. "Stop using evil bad social platform I don't like" seems too common, and I apologize for misreading you. I think dialog across the US is just plain shot regardless of what platform it takes place in. Most people won't see a need for establishing meaningful dialog until it is forced upon them by violence and bloodshed. You can see how long it took to get the factions in the middle east to come to their senses.

@OrbitalGardens I usually do ok until it's "Jesus Take The Wheel," "Baby It's Cold Outside So I'ma Pressure You Into A Date Rape." Come to think of it, there are few others but I'm pretty good at turning off the radio if I must.
