It is enough for me to know this feature DOES NOT work to secure messages, as clients connecting to my server are warned, and I wish it did work. I'm using GeyserMC which requires this to be set false for that plugin to work.

That said, you are fear mongering over steps taken to prevent clear and obvious harm in violation of the terms of service. If your intent is to cause harm, pick another game.

@nogajun What source? The Java byte code is there for you to read yourself. The Bedrock code where this policy has been in place as part of Xbox and is only relevant as to how it has affected those players. Has it?

I'm ending the experiment where my server group played on Bedrock. The parity issues were too annoying. I've commented on it elsewhere. For this run, we will use https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftseeds/comments/tkatb0/the_island_with_a_village_a_mansion_and_a_huge/ which also gives details on how to find one's own particular wonderful seed to start with.

For this, no plugins EXCEPT for Floodgate and GeyserMC so my nephew can play as well as, hopefully, our grandkids. We shall see how that pans out. No data-packs, no recipes. Honor system, no Fabric mods or other mods. As pure a vanilla experience as we can get. Let the challenge begin!
