@timnolte hey Tim, Thanks for posting these! It's helped me get back into running... In 2019 I felt I couldn't run 3 miles but decided to set off goal of enjoying running. I got up to running about 36 miles per week (7/8/7/14 runs) until a few months ago when due to insane life circumstances and an injury I took some down time. First real run of this year at 7 miles this morning. I'm back in. Last year's marathon would have been my first but was covid canceled, rescheduled for October this year. I should be ready well in advance.
@Jdogg247 so they rigged the election to protect democracy? They might as well say War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength.
@isaac
An exerpt:
“But it’s massively important for the country to understand that it didn’t happen accidentally. The system didn’t work magically. Democracy is not self-executing.”
That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order to ensure that democracy in America endures.
A translation : the system must work how the well funded powerful people (in business and politics) want it all work, so they secretly conspire to change laws and limit what information the public can access to ensure the result they want, and this is called Fortifying The Election. Because democracy is too fragile, it must be manipulated or it may not give the rich and powerful their desired outcome.
Since I’m trending, I’d like to remind everyone that I live in Washington D.C— just a few blocks from the Capitol building.
Long story short, Ted Cruz tried to murder me too.

Democrat congress woman tweets that all Republicans should be called terrorists.
This is the unity we've been waiting for.

Earlier I tweeted that BLM is the most racist and violent organization in America. I want to apologize. I was wrong. It was an irresponsible thing to say. Planned Parenthood is the most racist and violent organization in America. BLM is second. Again, I apologize for the error. https://twitter.com/MattWalshBlog/status/1356438257207300099 #America

'Enemy is within the House': Pelosi warns of GOP
In my ongoing effort to avoid being cancelled, I hereby agree that an absence of court-approved proof of election fraud is proof it did not happen, courts are the ideal place for those challenges, software systems are unhackable, and full election transparency already exists. https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1354514801385328641 #Election

@mathlover @freemo Yeah, I saw that governors began calling them home... Maybe after being made to sleep outdoors in sub freezing parking garages?
I think the shift from That Fascism is Trump's Fault to I'm Fine With It makes sense as we move further into the new administration.
I wonder how long we'll have troops there.
D.C. National Guard deployment extended through end of March
How can we keep up the Everything Bad Is Trump narrative? I'm sure we can do it.

@bonifartius @freemo to be fair, "gaslighting" isn't obvious to native English speakers either. It has a legitimate meaning but is, I think, based on an old movie few have seen.
To manipulate someone psychologically such that they question their own sanity.
That's one dictionary definition. I think it's a real thing we often see in politics and the media lately. But used as a common insult? Odd.
I'm interested in being just not civil, but excellent in interacting with others of different viewpoints in an online world where we can so viciously defend our echo chambers and be so dismissive of other perspectives.
Because this is less and less possible here, I'm largely offline and am not sure if I'll be returning. It was fun back when civility was a trend on qoto.
