I've done 1-40 so far. A few hundred behind.

Well, honestly, this poll explains a lot of what has been happening on Mastodon!

cell tower puzzle babble

29 was a hard one. Took me revisiting over hours today. Three options for one letter, i only had considered two until just now. 🤦

my method is to not commit a first word until I think I've figured out the whole thing. takes a lot of staring at the screen, but the results look nice.

I’m sorry, but why would you leave Twitter and head straight to another “walled garden”? Be free!

Always good to see a famous posted. This one at a door at a hotel.

This was... Aristotle?

@mcuellar @robeaston when I interview prospective developers, "Change Sets" is a common answer to "what is the worst part of building on Salesforce"

Hopeful for the new Devops tool, but waiting to use it until it works with more than github.

@lifewithryan yeah, tried two more and they were disasters! 🤣

@lifewithryan I've seen a few of these posted now. Finally gave it a try. First one was awful.

By third I got a perfect. But after a lot of just staring at my screen and trying out different ideas. But... I'm still 197 behind.

Theology 101: It takes great faith to trust God to calm the storm; it takes greater faith to keep trusting him when he doesn't.

@ParkerTechGuy Yep - saw the forecast in my zip code is to not get up to freezing today.

(For everyone else out there - look at this, it's terrible here in , don't move here! We're all frozen, like... all the time!)

@ParkerTechGuy 🤣 took me a second to say.. wait.. what the...

Strange to be working at a coffeeshop on this sub-freezing day in while they play Jack Johnson. Snow outside. Hawaiian music inside.

I tried Tusky again after seeing it mentioned as a favorite. For all it's flaws, I'm back within minutes to Subway Tooter. Yeah, it's a really weird name. and it's got some issues.

Here's why I keep going back to it and I wonder if there's others that can do this:

IT KEEPS MULTIPLE TABS OPEN. with the , I'm relying more on tags (to find new users) and lists (to find those I follow and have categorized)... and with subway tooter I'm able to swipe through each of these views easily.

My open tabs are..

- My Feed
- My Notifications
- a few topics/tags I'm monitoring for new interesting people to follow and may add to my lists
- a few lists for very different categories... geographically local, professional interest, faith interest.

Tusky looks like a streamlined interface where I can choose to search those topics or open those lists to switch to that view, but doesn't let them just stay open.

But, if we don’t have Twitter, how will we know what to be angry about each day???

@freemo @alex

In many senses, I find sets high standards for communication in . You have enabled connected services, allowed 65K characters, you have robust policy, we can use markdown in posts, and you are also very welcoming, responsive, and open community!

@obi @freemo yeah, we cuspers don't fit into the categories too nicely. I don't mind that.
