Roger Stone raid shows that CNN is no longer covering Robert Mueller. They're working with him

foxnews.com/opinion/tucker-car

"Mueller is the single most powerful person in America, and yet nobody voted for him. He is a living rebuke to the principles of our democratic system. At the same time, our leaders tell us that we need Robert Mueller — an all-powerful, unelected prosecutor, accountable to no one — to protect us from threats to – brace yourselves here – democracy..."

@seven1m I've been bullet Journaling since last February, very nearly 1 year now.

Is great - the minimal structure to allow maximum flexibility while being organized with to be useful.

And if I don't use it for a few days, I haven't lost $18 worth of pages bought from Franklin Covey. :)

From now on, I’m calling the “have one fewer kid” carbon footprint advice “Thanos environmentalism”.

I have to say, as much as I despise trump I have to give him credit for doing one very important thing. He has lowered taxes for everyone. While i may not agree with how he redistributes the money I absolutely agree with lowering taxes on all brackets.

@polishdub Sometimes it's fun browsing the federated timeline... I often bullet journal with my pilot fountain pen.

Perfectly sums up the lesson the vast majority of people on the left end of the political spectrum in english speaking countries desperately need to learn.

Am currently the hash tag king on 's directory. Not sure if that's good or bad.

@NPR @AtlasFreeman I remember reading that under ACA insurers are limited to something like 20% revenue, so the only way for them to legally increase revenue is to always want higher and higher prices. Hospitals make more, insurers make more, patients pay more. It's the only legal way as I understand it. That's why it's called the affordable care act.

@EzriJayu I've done pomodoro before and may implement again, but my biggest problem currently is that when I've physically walked away I keep trying to think through problems to solve them. Sometimes for multiple hours that I should be sleeping.

That's really counter productive, and throws off my following day, (or week!) and I skip exercise and eating healthy, adding more stress and causing problems long term.

I'm trying to convince myself that this is the real problem I need to resolve, rather than when projects, deadlines, difficult work personalities, troubling situations as a parent, etc. Hoping I can get that mind space redirected, then set very clear limits each day for work duties, but wish on being more focused on one problem at a time with work. I think that's where pomodoro will fit in well, trying to be hyper focused on the major high impact fires in dealing with.

We'll see how it goes this week and if I can stick to it.

Sadly I just saw that today was Child Labor Day and I didn't honor that by making my kids do lots of labor. Had them riding bikes with friends in the warm Denver weather between snow falls.

It is also Thomas Crapper Day, and... I guess I honored that by using that which he popularized. :/

Working on compartmentalizing stress this week. Lots of stress with work (work load and personalities) and parenting, hoping to be able to focus on taking care of myself better by time boxing when I focus on which stressors.

It's looking like the difficulties and pressures won't let up any time soon, and situations like likely get worse, so hoping this is a fine if growth with my own ability to manage multiple very stressful situations.

I've found historically that I often feel like I'm drowning in impossible situations, then defying my own expectations excel and do really well, and then I wish I didn't lose so much sleep so many nights. Hoping to continue to excel without losing sleep and skipping personal priorities due to (over) stressing.

@freemo @mikelga Yes, I believed the election was lost when those 2, the 2 most unliked presidential candidates in history, won the party nominations. Many votes were oppositional votes and many stayed home or voted third party due to lack of support for the candidate whose party nominee they would have normally supported.

@NPR Should we point out the assumption from this tweet from a member of the media? The assumption is that simply by being a member of the media like this tweeter is, means one always speaks the truth. Last time I heard NPR is was rumors and speculation with gleeful hope that Stone's arrest would advance their political goals rather than a focus on truth.

People don't g become saints because they get a government job instead of a corporate job, even in socialist governments like Venezuela. People don't become saints because they work in media taking a position of telling everyone what they should think. Those who are saints gather weekly to confess their hypocrisy.

We shouldn't turn off our discernment, it's always difficult to figure out what's "truth, propaganda or rumor ", the media is not inherently decent, honest, truthful, or reliable. We need to stop expecting a trustworthy news source and employ more critical thinking.

Friend: Are you OK? You haven't posted on Instagram in ages
Me: I quit FB, Instagram, and Twitter.
Friend: Why'd you quit the internet?
Me: Actually I've *rejoined* the Internet.

Next time someone asked me why did I leave the internet, I'm gonna say I'm still very much on the Internet. When are *you* coming back?

Hello world!
