There are some days I wish I could move to Europe and live there, but I have no idea what I'd do for work... or how I'd get like a visa or citizenship somewhere that direction. Gotta have the healthcare and all the rest, you know?

@Glitches@spinster.xyz You should absolutely be allowed to be comfortable with who and what you are. People who are fighting for equality should, likewise, see that fact and support it.

Unfortunately, people are very much tribal and I'm not sure that is simply a social construct- I feel it may be one of those instinctual survival strategies that we'll need to actively become aware of and fight against.

If you don't quite fit into the tribe, you face a fate of living at the periphery and that is sometimes worse than being actually thrown out completely from the group. The anxiety and doubt it creates can be gnawing.

For whatever it's worth, I personally think you're a neat lady. :)

@Glitches@spinster.xyz Toxicity exists in all groups. It's up to people in the community to call it out and say it isn't appropriate.

That ability will be what separates some critical groups from other groups.

I have zero regrets about what I've done, and I fully intended to spray that dude with pepper spray. I said as much in every report I wrote, and said so before the authorities who questioned me.

My thumb just slipped.

@Felixson @AthenasWrench It was a perfectly legal and appropriate use of force. The inmate refused to stop what he was doing, had his dick out, and was getting aggressive. The action was brought before the appropriate authorities and I was released as without wrongdoing.

I may or may not have accidentally slipped and sprayed some dude's dick with terrifyingly potent pepper spray.

@freemo I will do my best to make time for anyone suffering from mental health issues. I will gladly take a DM and give you an ear. It means so much to me, personally, when people make themselves available and I'll be damned if I won't do the same for anyone else who suffers.
