Whilst I'm on #introductions, I'm also an author. Never thought I'd say that, but here we are.
I wrote "Managing Your Mental Health During Your PhD:A Survival Guide" because I struggled during my own PhD. I felt worthless and experienced a range of emotions, feeling suicidal at times, and wanting to quit. So I decided I wanted to create a resource for others that might be struggling.

💫 WHY YOU NEED TO REBOOT MORE HERE 💫
Hello #Newbies on #Mastodon! Here a tip that helped me understand how things work here:
- “Favorites” = “I like that!”
🚨 BUT doesn’t enhance the visibility of a post
➡️ I see this as a way to say “Cool!” or “I read you, thanks!” in comments/replies/threads that lead to side conversations
- “Reboots” = “I want people to see that!”
✅➡️ The only way to give people a push! Important for e.g. #Introductions
