I published a scoping review recently with my supervisor looking at theory-based messaging campaigns targeting COVID vaccine hesitancy, and we found that only one campaign targeted misinformation as a modifiable determinant of vaccine hesitancy, which is … pretty astounding, given how much we talk about the problem of vaccine misinformation and say we want to mitigate the associated harms — like vaccine hesistancy.

Hello, everyone. Time to update my #introduction. I'm a #biostatistician with a PhD in psychology and I program with #rstats. I've spent most of my career working in #Alzheimer disease research, with brief detours into medical #education and #clinicaltrials data monitoring.

In my spare time, I enjoy #cycling (slowly), #birding (inexpertly), and serving as a board member at EAGLE School.
