@ajlburke
This doesn't make you want to reach out, grab him by the collars and say, "Dammit, Dylan! Just tell me what you're trying to say!?"

I found the perfect word to describe Taylor Swift's songwriting approach.

Everyone (...well... ok, Twitter...) is talking about Jordan Peterson's terrible steak advice but it just made me want to go and find a (medium) really well executed Wagyu. 🥩

People are needlessly concerned that the unavoidable of (language and visual) tools will "break the landscape". The quality and quantity of "fake news" and other published BS may increase but people with the and to distinguish between and will always have the upper hand.

Humanity was in this situation of "disruptive innovation" many times in the past, and it somehow managed to grow up of it a little bit better than before.

Show me a single non-rhyming poem that adds something positive to the human experience and deserves long-term memetic propagation.

I re-watched "Everything Everywhere All At Once" taking into consideration some of the comments made by colleagues and friends who loved it. I still don't love it and but I am softening. "Silliness" has never been my kind of humour so the "It's bonkers! [giggles]" defence is sort of lost on me.

@mattdagley I won't lie -- I've never given it more serious thought than I am right now.

Nova Scotia Power sending unsolicited emails telling me to scrimp on my power usage to lower my bills while:

- they pay out record profits to shareholders
- their CEO earns $8 million a year
- they invest so little back into infrastructure that we can't rely on our power staying on

... is a real vibe but I guess they know about cutting corners.

That day is very near. "Give me a new Front Line Assembly album with 10 tracks. It should sound more like Tactical Neural Implant than Implode."

@feliz
That actually makes a lot of sense. It seemed to have no trouble at all with historical date ranges.

@aspiringcat
It's definitely possible. The problem with the prompts is that chat GPT has a problem with lying. So if it can't find real songs it will actually make some up. But in that case right now it just can't find them on Spotify and so it ignores them.
