it's a movie on yt about a gang of teens that climb enormous fig trees! [1/2]
even as a #climbing enthusiast that grew in a land with tons of #ficus #trees - some are quite similar in shape to the complex shape of the strangler #fig (made by aerial roots that drop and turn into earth roots, and merge with the trunk or form another trunk) - i could not have imagined that tree climbing could be exciting.

Dans la transition énergétique, on a un gros problème (plus d'un en fait) : c'est qu'on est "aveugle sur l'énergie". Quand on appuye sur l'interrupteur, on n'a aucun idée de l'énergie consommée. Ca marche, c'est tout. Mais consomme-t-on 1 W.h ou plus ? ou 1000 fois plus ? On n'en sait rien. Voici un petit graphique pour avoir quelques ordres de grandeur :

This is marvellous! So qoto.org is an entire ecosystem of free apps and mastodon and peertube etc tie into it! This could be excellent for building serious scholarly discussions on the top of #fediverse, and #qotojournal for example builds a knowledge base.
