I foolishly thought that "aimer" was a melancholic mandarin type of music.
I regret not listening to her music sooner lol!

@deesapoetra That's one of the weird things about our field. When you're starting, everything is: “Learn the basics. No libraries, no frameworks. Nothing. Just the bare bones.” So then you try to read code written by other people and can't understand shit, because everything is so abstracted from what you know.

But when you're experienced, it all becomes: “Don't waste your time doing things yourself. Use our product. We have everything laid out for you.” And you think: “No, I'm an expert now. I can write my own code without having to tie my product to yours.” But then your manager says: “Use the other product. It will be faster and that's all we care about.”

"Religion is an opiate of the masses."
I'm not marxist. But this quotes hits me real hard when i think about how people arounds me acted like.

My govt blocks access to reddit, vimeo, and a lot of other web.
Reddit ? Seems reasonable.
But vimeo?
I just don't get it.

Lesson learned.
Never put anything digital and security related in a fragile device like sdcard.
I split mine in half after putting it in my foldable wallet :ablobbounce:

Something that i learned on a college.
As an architect. You don't need to draw something accurately.
Just draw it on that place and that time no matter how shitty it will look.
Take notes about the details.
And polish it when you're at home, just like every carpenter does.

FYI I know its not easy to keep track of other cultures holidays. So just a remind in 2 days Ramadan is coming up. So if you have any Islamic friends dont forget to wish them a wonderful Ramadan (this is a rather important holiday for them) on Tuesday.

If I recall correctly Ramadan is one of the holidays they fast on, so it might be especially appreciated if offer them a nice home baked snack or meal in the day leading up to it as a nice gesture (I dont think this is a typical "gift" for the holiday I dont really know, but just seems like a thoughtful way to go).

If any Muslim friends would like to help steer me to good ideas on this one feel free to leave your thoughts int he comments.

I once told a kid that "ahegao" is a Japanese words for "mask".
And told him to say "hey! You should put ahegao in your face" whenever he met someone that doesn't wear a mask.
