Correct. Accessing the Qoto instance via browser gives you access to it's features as well as access to qoto's other services like video and audio hosting.

Been doing web development for almost 20 years, currently working with #Typescript / #Javascript, #MongoDB, #Neo4j, #Angular, and #NestJs.
I'm interested in #Philosophy, #Politics, #History, #Complexity, #Physics, and #ComputerScience.
I have thoughts on #collapse and our current moment, but I'm feeling gluttonous at almost 500 chars for my first toot.
@Decad3nce I am on iOS and started out on the app but was told that the web version is good and gives you access to qoto specific features.
For example if you’re on the web, you can click the “…” on a toot and then select the option to browse that persons, instance’s timeline.
The mobile site is very usable too!

@kristinmbranson That’s a cool product. I had some chalk based dry erase markers where the tip could be pumped that worked pretty well.
I always lose my writing utensils way before they wear out so I didn’t fully reap the benefits of them. :)

I never did proper #introduction post in the 3 years since joining. I'm a nerd of all trades (and master of none), so I'll just pick some:
I like working with #embedded systems, and linking them across the Internet (which some call #IoT). As I want those to be efficient, interoperable and secure, I spend much time around the #CoAP stack of protocols -- both contributing to its specs at #IETF, and writing #FreeSoftware implementations in #RustLang, #Python and on @RIOT_OS (in C).

@neurobongo It helps to have a foil. It seems where I work the engineers loathe our ERP system and the people on the business side hate our IT ticketing system. The two sources of hatred keep the universe balanced I guess. :)

@aut i have hit the block trifecta in terms of that content a couple times. It is nice to curate your feed and I appreciate that we are on a server with good rules for behaving.
@CanXClV Libre Office Draw is good at making or editing PDFs. I have used it when I get something that doesn’t allow me to input text but I don’t want to print, write on it and then scan it back in.
If I just want to make a nice written document with not a super fancy layout there are extensions for VS Code that can convert markdown to pdf.
