Prussian Blue in the Art of Japan - Blog post
@chikara As asked in your post above:
"QUESTION: Is QOTO flexible enough to allow me to define what I want and what I do not want to do?"
Yes, certainly!
I am pleased to see your posts, showing curiosity and research, by all means they are enjoyable and belong here without any doubt.
Please accept my apologies for the formal language in my post, it has been edited as you requested. 🙇
Prussian Blue in the Art of Japan - Blog post
@chikara Thank you for your in depth response, which as usual is ellaborate, well written and informative.
I have edited the post as requested here, the announcement of my Blog post of your Great Wave Blue pigment post.
Unfortunately, that required me to Delete and Redraft my post -- and your response to it is now orphaned and somewhere I don't exactly know is.
Thank you for the feedback, it is a pleasure to share the community with members like you.

Finding insteresting people to follow, there are a few different ways, a good start is doing what you did and posting a hello message when you join the system.
We have a lot of nice users here at Qoto, and there's many more out there. I would suggest you take a look at the guide above, and chat here to clarify any doubts, get extra suggestions.
Any question, just ask, and someone will try and help out.
Welcome. 🥂
@shibaprasad @IntegralDuChemin
Those were all good suggestions, S.
I would add looking for a community to join, where you can visit and chat, like here. It's been pretty quiet today, people are out or doing work but it can be pretty lively at times.
I do use a penpal letter writing app that I find great for finding people with similar interests, we have nice conversations via letters.
It's called Slowly, and you can use on a mobile device (iOS or Android), or in a laptop via Slowly Web mode.

@Saederup92 @freemo ...Or India.
Yes, those two are really in a different league, was just writing to an Indian friend this morning and mentioned that.
Huge population, very difficult.

@chikara Thank you Chikara, another great post.
I love the Great Wave gravure, so beautiful.
I made a blog post of your previous post here about it, have you seen it?

I am learning to use Write.freely blog instance and enjoying it a lot.
MarkDown language - Easy to learn, worth it!
#MarkDown language is a new thing I am learning and starting to use.
Last night I posted a topic here about a MarkDown tutorial, which is available in English, Spanish and French. Took a couple hours later to do it and was impressed.

Very, very well done, simple and demonstrates the commands to format text by explaining them, giving you an area to type in and format text with a preview window besides.
Spent more time after and edited a whole Blog post I had made, formatted with HTML Markup language and which was not kosher yet.
Resulted in a much cleaner and prettier page.
I just copied the revise Blog post here to Discourse forums : https://discourse.qoto.org/t/qoto-moderator-nomination-process-my-personal-thoughts-and-notes-on-user-participation/143
This one is set on Public view, can be checked anonymously.
The previous edition is on the Moderation area, and can be seen by logged in users only, not anonymous, but it's here if you want to compare: https://discourse.qoto.org/t/qoto-moderator-nomination-process-notes/117/5
@mngrif Oh, I do hope you are right!
@Saederup92 @freemo Imagine governing a country that large.
Siberian Railroad even crosses it east to West, a major undertaking to buid it.
@mngrif ...assuming the /sarcarsm tag was implied?
@Saederup92 @freemo Yes, it's a large continent.
We have 3.5 time zones here in Canada. Many more in EU I imagine. Russia then, they have 11 or 12 of them, mind boggling size, their country.
@Saederup92 @freemo Good afternoon, soon to be good evening in EU time. 😄
Woke hours earlier but had a serious backup on my penpals correspondence, so concentrated on clearing some of it. Better now. 😜
