If you are considering migrating to a new server, my sage piece of advice is:
Save your favo(u)rites or bookmark them before you redirect to a new account, because once you've moved, you'll lose access to them. Bookmarks can be exported and imported; starred posts cannot.

I personally use #Emacs and its #orgmode, but if you don't want to end up in the #rabbithole, I would say #wekan, the #TODO apps that live on the #IPFS, but also #trello if you want something of more mainstream..
there are a lot of #alternatives.. even just a plain text file syncronized wih #git or any other syncronization #software
