@zpartacoos not **that** uncommon to have a hung jury. Honestly I think the case is such an obvious case of self defense i am shocked the jury is undecided to this extent. That said I think some people are just so bias against guns there is always bound to be one who sees a gun and all reason goes out the window.

God damnit. Doesnt the jury in the Rittennhouse case know there are people on social media waiting on this damn verdict so we can argue with each other and shit post memes... not cool jury, not cool.

@ChristiJunior Facebook is worse when it comes to banning people to the point of oppression. Twitter is worse in terms of its algo seeming to create and favor harassment and insularity but instead of baning you they just shadowban you, so it feels less oppressive (and in a sense is)... gab is the most "free" of the three but is filled with nothing but shit people.

This is a direct quote from the wisconsin DOJ clearly stating that the state can not appeal a not guilty verdict (which is unconstitutional in every state btw):

Appeals by the state after certain circuit court judgments (such as not guilty) are
limited by the United States Constitution. The 5th Amendment's “double jeopardy”
clause protects against multiple prosecutions for the same offense. Therefore, if the defendant is acquitted, the state cannot appeal.
