@louis and the timing again fits perfectly into Russia agenda of wanting the Democrats to appear against Russia while working for them..

They wait until Ukraine has no chance of victory left of any kind, them lift restrictions at the last minutes before defeat giving just enough plausibility to think Russia isn't pulling the strings yet in no way actually putting Russia at risk as they are now set to win the war anyway.

@louis the Democrats specifically put rules on Ukraine that they couldn't advance attacks into Russia... Seems the Ukraine example is the perfect example of them trying to appear like they are against Russia while actually actively working towards their interests.

@louis

Because of the "and hide it" part... Seems to have been a great tactic that was effective on you based on your response

Putin's plan step by step:

1. Convince americans it is a two party system
2. Control the democrats and hide it to make it seem like they are the good guys.
3. Control the republicans and make it obvious enough that people think they are the bad guys.
4. Let the Americans fight and no matter who wins its Russia
5. Profit!

His plan has worked out perfectly, even now the people fighting "against" it are still fighting for him because of #1.

@timo21

He has been in control for a long time now. This is just the point where he has no need to hide it anymore because he controls both sides now.

@randahl

@paulisci It didnt work for Biden or Harris why would anyone think it would work on Trump. How about we just dont elect evil people?

@freemo I'm a fan of Jean-Marie Volland's and his colleagues work! however, this includes criticism of one of their claims. because this is science 😀

@STCmicrobeblog

Not my area of expertise, but you seem to know what your talking about. I'll give a read to the link if I remember tomorrow but I boosted because this is all very interesting.

@freemo

"My skepticism about the authors' claim that the genome of 𝘛. 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢 is localized in membrane-bound compartments ─ which they call "pepins" ─ stems from the fact that their technically excellent EM images do not show a continuous membrane, at least not in one focal plane (Figure 4, F+G)."

@Raccoon

No that is almost always the case. Life is filled with exceptions though, and this is one of them.

Mammals are supposed to give live births, but a platypus lays eggs.

Those giant white hair looking things. Each one is a **single cell** bacteria. It is the largest bacteria known to man with each cell growing up to 2mm. You can see them with the naked eye and they are even strong enough to be picked up.

They are also unique as they are the only bacteria where the dna has a nucleus like membrane around it.

@TheOldGuy

I've never met a rich person who cheated on their taxes. I have never met a lower class person who didnt....

@randahl They had two choices, starve to death, or support a mob boss. While I would never vote for Trump I cant say I blame them.

Friend: He has no soul. Gingers have no soul!

Me: Of course they do. The real problem is that none of them are his.
