@frankiesaxx I wish most of the work wasnt me, I just directed (due to my back I cant). But my mom has been down and she is OCD about cleaning so I hired a few helpers and maids along with her and myself and we made a week long project out of cleaning and organizing the whole house.
@MOTT Yea, I love the fact that anything that exists in arch is something you explicitly put there. It guarantees a truly minimal system based on how you want it.
The chemistry lab room. All cleaned just needs to be organized and I'm done.
@MOTT Everything i run is arch, not a single complaint from me.
Cleaned all the labs and the whole house. The RF station is back on the air.

@MominRasool My situation can not be treated by physical therapy, it is very severe, a complete extrusion of the disk. The pain meds would be a temporary solution until the surgery, nothing more since the doctors are already doing every alternative option they see as feasible (including NSAIDS).
Yesterday I needed an oxy for the pain, but i waited and luckily the pain is much better today so for the moment I'm thankfully only on the NSAID and managing to avoid the strong stuff. But it varies day to day.
@MiaDees I had a similar reaction when I first saw it. It was so cool.
Because of my back injury (which is new news to me its so bad and needs surgery).I wasn't able to get those certificate bugs fixed. I was obviously distracted by the news. Now it is Christmas eve so family things going on.
I will however fix that come Wednesday or Thursday if I have the time. I should.
Also I think we should start considering another system admin to bring on board as a backup to myself. We have Hugo who i pay to handle this main server and of course I have credentials there too to admin it if needed. But for all our other servers (like peertube) there is just me.
So that leads me on to the second point, we should start to consider another person to act as a backup system admin for myself, hopefully on a volunteer basis, but if not then I could hire someone affordable there too.
The reason i didn't hire someone for that in the past is I was the only one using it until now. .

I think what arteco is seeing is a mistake i have seen others make and myself. that is, they mean to reply but accidentally post it as an original post. So when you read it you think you are reading a reply but if you click on the post you will see there is no earlier discussion chain.
Its just an anomaly.

Are you sure? I have replies turned on in my home feed and on the web I have never once seen a reply that I wasnt tagged to.
What I do see (and what you may be thinking of) is original posts that tag a person but not done as a reply. Sometimes (often) people make mistakes and tag someone and write a response intended as a reply but didnt actually click the reply button. In which case it will show up. But generally if its a legitimate reply it shouldnt show up in your home unless you are tagger. At least on the webui, i cant speak for other apps.

While i am very sympathetic to the opiate epidemic and do agree we need to solve it, the problem is the current approach makes it much much worse, let me relay my own expiernce to tell you why.
I recently had a very severe disc herniation. Much of the time i cant make it even one step away from my bed. I needed some sort of pain killer to help until it could be resolved, i also tried all the alternatives first, NSAID, steroids, ice, etc. NSAID did almost nothing for the extreme pain and steroids helped a lot but I wasnt allowed to stay on them for more than a week and the second i was off them I was worse then when I started. I needed some sort of pain medications or else my life felt like constant and literal physical torture.
So I approached my doctor of 5 years, he knew well that I have never asked for any scheduled drug of any kind. In fact the few times he offered Adderall i refused (for my ADHD). He flat out refused me any pain medications because he said i had to pass a drug test to get them, well i live in Holland and only stopped by america to pick something up and got stuck there. I told him "I would pass on all drugs but marijuana, but it was legal where i smoked it". Hearing that he refused me any medication and told me he could not since i couldn't pass a drug test.
Later in dire pain i called the office and begged and pleaded in tears. On the spot he dropped me as a patient all together and told me i could not be seen by him again (in the middle of a major injury). I then went on to call at least 20 doctors to get help and they all said under no circumstances would a new patient be prescribed a controlled substance. Now keep in mind i had an MRI and an X-ray to confirm the severity of my condition.
Now all i really needed or wanted was Tylenol II (basically Acetaminophen + codeine). While it is an opiate it is the absolute weakest form of opiate you can get. Since I was refused, and since i will not accept others abusing me or telling me what i can or cant do with my own body, my only solution was to scavenge drugs. I called every drug addict and family member i knew to try to get some pain killers to help. I finally got a nice collection together but since all drug users want are the strong things like morphine, oxycodon and hydrocodone all i had was a pile of stuff 10x - 100x stronger and more addictive than i needed. I did manage to get 4 codeine pills but they only last 4 hours each so that only held me over for a day.
In the end due to a pathetic attempt to address the drug epidemic they forced a non-addicted suffering patient to take drugs far riskier and more addictive than needed and drastically increased my risk of addiction, all in the ironically vain attempt to prevent my addiction.
Luckily as of yesterday I managed to reduce my swelling through use of a ketogenic diet enough that the pain is lessened and I stopped taking morphine. 2 days in with no morphine and I am not addicted, but I am one of the lucky few who isn't very easily addicted.
Long story short it NEVER pays to dictate what people can do with their own body, even drugs. Provide advice and support and leave the power with the individual.

@snder To be fair a 5cm difference is really enough to be an honest mistake. I always thought my height was 5'10 but iw as really 5'9"
With that said trump does strike me as the sort of person to be so insecure as to laugh about that.
