@freemo That’s a really interesting question! Putting my EMT hat on, if they’re competent they get to refuse an intervention but in practice those are hard calls.
More generally it kind of depends on other factors. For example, do you let someone ignore a mandatory evacuation knowing they may want to be rescued later at greater risk to all concerned?
It’s a thought provoking question. I’d lean towards answering “Yes” in the abstract and mostly in practice but I’m willing to believe there are circumstances where I’d be open to “No” and I can’t come up with a consistent limiting principle.

@freemo I wasn't sure of the scope of your question, so I didn't answer. Suppose a paramedic refuses to provide lifesaving care to a person injured in a car crash, because the injured person was clearly at fault. In a sense, the paramedic "let someone die" who was "unwilling but otherwise capable" of following the rules of the road, which in this case is "what was needed to stay alive". That's quite a different situation from the decision to, say, force-feed a hunger striker.
Interesting results.... not what I expected.

Man Matt Walsh is such an cringy annoying person... Constantly offended by the most minor nuance and then goes on a somber hour diatribe...Why in the world would anyone want to watch him constantly whine about every little annoying video he sees on youtube.
I think Ive only had the flu once in my life... at least that I noticed. But knowing i tested positive for COVID 7 times and never noticing it it makes me wonder if maybe I get things like the Flu all the time and just never have symtoms. Maybe im prone to asymptomatic responses or something.
To this day I still dont understand how women wear bikinis, though I dont wish to do anything to discourage the practice.
But I mean, there is like a half inch margin on either side around the vagina. I dont get how someone could wear it at the beach and not feel completely naked. Then again I dont understand male speedos for much the same reason.

Went with white suspenders on a white shirt yesterday. It works but the loops on the pants didnt have any good spacing for it. Plus they were too large. I think I might try this look again though.

Just a reminder, palestinian civilians are not allowed to own guns, this is restricted in the Oslo accords.. So **any** argument about the Palestinians allowing the hamas is invalid.
In that sense one can say that the existance of Hamas is entierly on the shoulders of israel (the ones who enforces the oslo accords)

It doesn’t take a whole lot of empathy to understand exactly why a country constructed like a prison where the fucking Israelis bombed their airport with over a 50% unemployment rate would birth a massive movement of discontent and violent rebellion.
Someone needs to do a Nifty Fifties that is historically accurate, segregation and all, as a random thing at a store for a single day just to bring awareness to racism... I feel like someone just walking in there and seeing thast, and living it as if it were real might be quite impactful. Sadly I doubt it would ever happen as a lot of people would also be s=very upset.
