@Deepsealioness I hope you are having a wonderful Men's Day and I hope no one has used it as a tool against you today.

I know you tend to have views which may have lead to some of that, I dont know, so I just wanted to be a friendly voice today for you in case that is the case.

This is what happens when you make guns illegal. We just sealed a firework onto a nurf gun bullet and shot it in the air. All fingers and toes in tact.

Dutch Christmas/Sinterklaas is insane...

We already started exchanging gifts and you do it every night for like 3 weeks.. then second christmas starts, lasts another month, and finishes with three days of christmas festivities centered around the 25th... Then after christmas they celebrate new years and the whole place becomes a war zone filled with explosions...

Man I love the Dutch.

I need this sign in my chemistry lab.

I noticed as im walking back to my home.. whenever i pass someone walking a dog i always say hi and start waving that the dog then only say hi to the human a few seconds later...

I was thinking hard about what point or takeaway i wanted to give everyone as we all celebrate Men's Day. I think on days like this its good to do two things: celebrate the good things, and also be more aware of ways in which men can be the target of sexism, regardless of how that might compare to the oppression of women which is a topic for the other days out of the year.

I think one of the most important examples of sexism against men is the way they are treated when seeking help as the victim of physical or sexual abuse. In the vast majority of cases they are either turned away or appalingly often accused of being the abuser themselves if you can beleive that. The problem is massively common as the graph below shows.

Im not sure what we should do about it but i am sure we shoukd be aware of it.
