Israel apologists have been amazingly defensive about its latest acts of terrorism in Lebanon. It’s extremely important to them that everyone believe it’s awesome and good to turn electronic devices into thousands of bombs placed throughout unsuspecting civilian populations and then turning around in a day or two and bomb them without mercy.

#NewMexico from the article "In an effort to prevent migrant crossings from the southern border, Texas installed a razor wire along its border with New Mexico, not Mexico — upsetting the southwestern state’s governor."

Just an FYI, on Thursday (2 days) we will be re-attemping our 5-in-1 update. It will be a very major update so expected as much as 3-days downtime as we are finally moving to the new architecture. We **will** be up at the other end with hopefully everything working and a few new features.

GREAT change is approaching. NIST will standardise prohibition of requirement of composing passwords from various character styles, and requirement for periodic password changes. These are harmful and obsolete rules. Now they will be treated as a cybersecurity weakness pages.nist.gov/800-63-4/sp800-

Iam watching the "A quiet place" movies and all I keep thinking is how the people who snore were likely the first to go...

@freemo ahh i can almost taste it from those descriptions! don’t think i’ve seen coconut cream on sale around here; i’ll have to look around and give this a go. now that i think about it, i still have a big bag of hemp hearts from when i used to eat them a lot, but have fallen out of the habit! almond milk sounds like a good flavour combo to pair with the hearts as a starting base anyway.

I started maki g my own meal replacement drinks. It is designed tonperfectly give 1/3 of a days nutrients on a keto diet, almost no carbs, high fat, medium protein. My idea is i can just drink tbese 2 to 3 times a day and get everything i need.

I also left out almost all thr carba sonif i want some carbs i can supplement it with a small snack if i want.

It is suprisingly tasty too.

IMO high functioning (level 1) autism doesnt exist in much the same way that someone who is a bit sad from time to time doesnt have high-functioning depression. They represent perfectly healthy and normal people.

That said their expiernces of struggling to relate to people is very real. This isnt autism however, this is the rest of society (the majority) with crippling personality disorders instead.

The problem with psychology is it assums the majority represent normalcy.

I wish i got caught in more booby traps... I love it when im trapped by boobies!

Just a reminder, the exploding pagers is another in a **long** line of **terrorist** campaigns by Israel. It is counter to international law, and further highlights their complete disregard for the safety of innocent people.

Knowing what you don't know is almost as important as knowing what you do know -- Highlander

As a second degree mason (so very new to ) I have to say, I am very impressed with the quality of the people and their stated values. I particularly like the requirement for study of religion and the study of the sciences and arts. Very few organizations are wise enough to put importance on both.

The requirements to join Freemasonry I find particularly noble:

* Must be of good moral repore
* Must study and learn the arts & sciences (Math, Astronomy, music, language, and logic are specifically listed).
* Must believe and study god or a higher power.
* Must treat his fellow man with compassion and love

The way scientists pull information out of multiple sources is soooo cool sometimes...

I'm not a hhuge fan of Jordan Peterson, but this one is spot on. Not so much about him not using trans people's pronouns, I dont agree with that. But his point about being willing to offend people is quite valid. The issue with not using the proper pronoun is **not** because you might offend someone, it is because caring about people is not the same thing as not offending someone. Not using their desired pronouns comes from a place of not caring about someone, using them is not an attempt to avoid offense, its to show them you care.

Sane healthcare would be one that addresses both sides of the equation... greed from unregulated for-profit healthcare that drives prices to insane levels due to supply and demand being broken (demand is infinite since people will give everything to live longer). It also needs to address the other side of the coin with highly-regulated universal health care, which is the lack of a free market to drive quality so things like wait times, availible medications, and other issues arise.

There are a few solutions to this but the best one I have heard is co-op based health care. Essentially healthcare where the owners are the patients of the companies they use, and there are no owners otherwise (so all owners are equal owners). When you move to a new healthcare company then you loose ownership in the old one and gain ownership in the new one.

This gives you supply-demand pressures that ensure your healthcare caters to what you want and need (or else loose their funding by patients moving), but keeps prices in check by eliminating the greed factor since any profits go back to the patients and insurance holders themselves.
