#Finance, #Money etc is all about processing people and pushing them toward #profit (and eventual loss for whole society as it get more #expensive).

I see all those listed in this quote as a kind of 'rinse and repeat' processing of people and planet, constantly #reselling and upping the costs as their #job (backed by the state) and to rake in the money and transaction costs / taxes / profits... Almost useless process and therefore people.

People talking about #Trump #Musk #Bezos the bad etc - So much time on that while I wonder how much time they also actually invest in people ? Like making friends with the others in the world or even just on the Fediverse as there might be better quality of person here or worth risking with (risk happens whichever way).

I'd like to ask all to get some priorities right and reassess usage if they don't build something else meantime. Somethign that is less $tate New$ and $ystem. It's borderline falling for it since even the links are adverts and tracking and just encouraging people's racism too in reply for what nobody know truth for and overlooks the more reliable truth that there is economic and time warfare happening and occupying y/our feed time in that way too...

(Not all comments were like this or even the worse but I chose this one to say something - so I do still appreciate we reply on stuff but just too much spreading what bad people do or plan - because that's part of their plan too as people boost it)

"I want to pick your brain" came to mind first so do you mind some asking some questions (could be a direct message first instead and not public?)....

And then I saw @RFarq@mastodon.social and @Weatherwax reply - especially Weatherwax taking time to quote something which I thought very nice relevant and valid here...

And if I'm right it's like someone selling something which doesn't have an end that's great although the doing of community IS the end somewhat in a life.... and current norms and previous history make it naturally mostly unresolvable in total today or in constant combat - and sometimes those buggers are taking away pieces or even killing environment that we need to live in... hmmm it's a fight for sure though we need to gather ourselves first perhaps as well as individual repel these things and not wait always for others.

So I see both sides is what I'm saying... I tend to side with trying / going the harder route (people together) though I think people can do much in small jumps today and even in the 'comfort' of their luxury hotel-houses which maybe they will realise one day even that is pricing themselves out of life slowly also.

So well done to you both. I'm look forward to gentle replies

Few sub-points:
➡️ I don't think you need massive 'experience' to agree / disagree as there are some definitely big deal-breakers or impossibilities even in the most inexperienced person who anyway has some experience of life in any form and even if never been in rural setting from other sources of seeing it (TV, fairy tales, movies, friends, Wikipedia stories etc)...

So 'absence of any actual experience' is a bit extreme in that light above.

Yes all roads are the high / hard road and difficult-impossible (we improve chances by doing it) because it's counter-mono-culture and doing different needs people to see either 'this way is crap, have to try another way regardless what it is and simply improve on that' or 'I can see a better way myself regardless of what they say so I'm off to create it and/or join it'.

#Professional players have #Stress (same in many things "PROFESSIONAL" (meaning often to over-do it or mainly do 1 thing) where we could 'win #together' a bit more in terms of championS in life overall (not business of extraction for being taxed) and more even playing field, even if not _the_ best and not needing get the most #money all the time as relativity to your '#worth' in life).

Life is not just #black and #white squares to though even though the #State and #Banks working against people would only want to see people in black and white (as #numbers, #race, working for them or not, and all the kind of #binary ways to look at things without #diversity etc)... and #cheat people out of life that way - basically making a #profit all the while in stress more than really helping each other or real change from this #oppression...

#ManMade things try to #Design it the only #Monopoly #game to play and live...

Life is more than this #business of #extraction - don't get #trapped into thinking and only doing this way.

Anyone have any examples of good process or final products of E-Book / book / zine making...

I think many people have some idea or could do it via word processing document / DOC re-saved / exported as PDF but is there something better (OpenOffice for example doesn't always save pictures very well or during PDF conversion inaccurate) so anything better out there?)

So your earlier episode thumbnails and titles clearly didn't mention at all any of the content inside... which might be expected as a weekly kind of archive but then again starting out something new is not great to click blind to see if you have mentioned something I like in each episode notes.. (I wouldn't / didn't do that and left the channel but will in future check if something tempts me)

So worth saying for others about thumbnails or titles that mentioning things is rather more helpful well before user is clicking any thumbnail or title...

Thumbnails or titles that don't indicate what it covers in the episode is like asking people to click each one which is asking too much. Especially if you have a lot of episodes.

I'd say it's more likely that almost nobody wants to open every single page without a bit of incentive / info to why and what's covered.

But I saw your last 2 thumbnails in Dec (as in picture attached) and those had logos in thumbnail so better 👍
even if not everyone might recognise them (especially new software) or be able to name them. So it's still better and hopefully not too much work for you as I considered that also in the finicky detailing of this somewhat for host.

Minimal episode title does make it 'cleaner' but I'd go for a few main keywords in the title of what you cover after the guests name with a hyphen for various clarity and search reasons too.

I think @Sascha@bonn.socialbe had a good point about PeerTube but to be honest I'd say one or the other - and for now side with filtering existing youtube videos like I've suggested in my other post by adding FILTERED links instead of direct youtube / google video sources and that way you filter adverts out with links like:

That advice my be contrary to my usual die-hard approach with PeerTube but I'm not sure PeerTube or doubling video's is the way... but PeerTube yes in future... or double videos and then move off Google to get MASSIVE respect from community (me included as PeerTube was SHIT before even with uploading video but now might tell you *before* uploading data if filename is too long but now I think it does after my moaning about it lol)

How is the feedback coming along from elsewhere?

I saw @falkheiland @tuckerk comment here but wonder where else people might chime in (other than google video comments)... Fediverse for the way... happy to help with audio or maybe notes...
