**NOAA US temp plot** On this plot they just do the month. This is reasonable because of the seasons. They then go on to do it for the world, which is not reasonable -- part of the Great Fantasy, or groupthink.
I laugh at their PR department who must make this appear to support climate change. They do that by constantly changing the semantics. For a long time, they could always say 'Hottest Ever', and now, during our ice cycle, they had a succession of '2nd hottest, 3rd hottest', etc, every year. When they got to 10, they changed to 'top third'
This month is so beyond that, they normally don't say anything. I don't even think it's 'top half'.
Like a Ponzi scheme, the great fantasy is supported by circular arguments. Lay down a supposition that co2 affects the weather, then produce models that incorporate this, to 'prove' it. Only look at things which support it, only do headlines for the fewer and fewer heat waves in the world. And so on. It's great, and I fully support it!! No denial here....

@freemo Ha, that was a typo, which I fixed, and then went back again. A good shot at Google...

@johnefrancis If I told you, I'd have to kill you... (Hint: it's a code to stop people from killing me)

**Another UK headline** You have to pay to view the article.

**North America has default weather** It's important to understand this concept: When there are no major ocean breezes, we are in 'default' mode, which is dry weather, the temperature depending on latitude. In the summer, this is hot, dry weather, and we'll get a lot of short heatwaves this summer. That will be sufficient to keep up the Great Fantasy.

**Canadians Fully Exposed** I think every company has the backdoors open.

**The Great Arctic Reversal** I think of Europe as the 'Grasshopper and the Ant' story. They danced in the early winter as Siberia got all the cold, and now it's Instant Karma. The entire world is the system.

**UK cold** Sorry, I just like 'Cold UK' stories. All I think is -- Man, that's as cold as Toronto!

**Tomatoes started** In Toronto, I've started the tomatoes for the lights. After sprouting in a flat, I transfer them to the dollar-store 2 inch cells in a pack. I find they get root-bound, and I can hold them for a while at a perfect state, if the outdoor planting is delayed. If you put in deeper soil, they can go spindly, and never recover, especially if you have to trim them.

**Nest wifi pro** My old google wifi setup was dying. This new stuff solved all the problems and wifi 6e is amazing. The S20 even shows a symbol for 6e. I had more old g-wifi points, but I only need the 3 pack for the new stuff.

**Arctic flow reverses to Europe** After a winter of the flow hitting California, winter is again a thing.

**Fergie to take in a house maid** Yes, that's the condition -- chop it off! ...

New nest wifi pro installed. Had to give up on the old google wifi. New devices had a lot of trouble. This seems great so far.
