This is my big weekly-ish blog on the ocean currents. I find you can't do anything semi-serious here.

However, nobody reads anything longer than a sentence, if that.

I'm just collecting 'End of La Nina' stories, with no thought on it whatsoever. The biggest bet of the year will be on this.

Manic phase over. All night with the most ridiculous dreams. Now, all is calm, and nothing funny is coming out.

Big wad of Pacific air coming for Toronto. BC's rainy loss is our gain. The plume is unusual in it's intensity and direct hit.

No recession for Canada. Don't put any money on it. We'll have a few weenies who didn't listen to anybody and bought a house at peak with a variable rate, butt the banks will quietly brush them under the carpet. All our income comes from oil, gas, automobiles, and Ryan Reynolds. All looks good for coming years, especially with it getting colder than you-know-what in the world. We excel at living in cold and can send paid consultants to US states that don't how to plough a road. The economy will shine when we start growing coca plants, and opium poppies. All the prairies will be covered with greenhouses, run by Ukrainian refugees.

Too manic. I've take a big dose of my homemade snake oil. My problem is that I start making fun of everybody, including the Major Sourpusses of Mastodon. Someday I'll go after the Hitman of Climate Change. This is dangerous, and so, now, I am totally mellow-yellow.

I'm much too gabby today, and will have to hit myself with bat. All the family in yesterday, too much drinking on my part. I had lots of fun with the big male Scotch drinkers shooting expensive Japanese Scotch. We only got it because of my California hipster son, who loves it. It burns like a friggin hot iron down your gut. Hilarious!

iphone flushed down the toilet leads rescuers on a merry chase.

Ontario gets silly again about energy. I did all the preliminary geotech studies of the new Niagara Tunnel. It would only work if we expanded the pumped storage. I left that division, and the gov't forced them to build the tunnel -- 'Worth it at any price.' they said. The tunnel cost 2 billion and was never used, because of the fact they couldn't expand the pumped storage, as I had said. The walls were dirt, and already had failures. Now, we go into buying all the lithium in China. If we accelerate the demise of Climate Change, then natural gas is the physics solution. But, physics is a fiction. :(

(Note, the following is fiction) When the Climate Change fad peeters out, then I publish my 'Rise and Fall of Climate Change' history book. Not now, of course, because the mob will burn it. I blame mostly the UK for starting it, and NASA for cementing it. But UK weather is fun right now, and I like viewing Scottish webcams for their skiing. Apparently, right now, the wind and snow will blow little kids right off the chairlift. You can't buy fictional amusement like this.

Fatuous statement from Russia. Or irony. For years, the West relied on nuclear bombs to stop Russia. Then Poots said "Ha, ha, we can invade any country we want because we'll commit global suicide if you try to stop us. We're crazier than Trump! Thus, the nuclear deterrent became an offensive weapon. The West called their bluff with conventional weapons to test in Ukraine. This has caused an incredible innovation 'rush' in these weapons. Poor Russia is left buying garbage from Iran, with smuggled parts from Canada. Yeah! Hope we make a lot of money on that. :)

I did this series to show how I am the 'Anti-Influencer'. I wish I could dance. :(

Heavy rain right after freeze. This is the Toronto forecast. We are maximum frost depth now, maybe. I had to take in my water jugs in the garage. My microgreens have stopped growing, with heat. We are talking about record flooding, maybe. If you want to get absurdly complex then this is all due to a dancing jet stream, which has no physics. If you want The Razor, then it's ocean currents.

Strong Pacific Plume gives us a thaw. Mimic has had trouble for months, so I can't see new cold air blobs coming, but you can see a very unusual Pacific plume coming over the mountains.

Merry Christmas with first grandson. All the family is here, and it's noisy.

The first stage of 'negotiation' is a male pissing contest. Without emotions, I think Ukraine should lease some land like the old Hong Kong thing. They bring in Nato, like they have already without jets (who needs them?) and the leases are 'no combatant' zones. The US increases the range of the himars to 150km. Neato.

It has begun. Based on a wing and a prayer, nothing stops people from injecting sulphur into the atmosphere. What could go wrong?
